The Refectory looked rather empty at this hour; Beyond preferred it that way.
It wasn't as much for the 'peace' or the 'tranquility', as others would say, but merely because the probabilities of being bothered by undesired acquaintances so early in the morning were lower than one percent, if not zero, and that was without accounting the fact that he had chosen the most estranged table in the room, as far away from the door as possible.
Grabbing the small cup next to his plate with his forefinger and thumb, knees pulled up to his chest with his other hand, Beyond dumped its -questionable- contents over his food. Empty indeed.
