...So, some of the questions I've had about this place got answered in that mansion, at least. But for every answer, there's a new question now. I guess that gives me some food for thought for a while.
I had already figured the Host might not necessarily be the one in control here, but now...could it be possible that the Manager and Apprentice are the same way? Could all three have been a ruse, to keep us from trying to find out whoever or whatever really brought us here? Clearly, all three died- I saw their corpses. And if what we're dealing with are their ghosts, I can't figure out why they would come back so twisted, except for revenge. But why involve us? It's pretty safe to assume none of us "guests" are responsible for that slaughter...
And one other thing bothers me: that black-haired woman who looked directly at us when no one else seemed to see us. Who is she and how does she fit into things? Who was the liar she talked about?
Here's what I've come up with that, if we can just get some answers somehow, might help in figuring out a way to escape this place:
-If Victor Seur is the Host, and the Host is dead, who controls the hotel and the town now?
-Is that red-haired woman the Manager, or is it the black-haired woman who could actually see us?
-If that black-haired woman isn't the Manager, who is she?
-If the Host, Manager, and Apprentice are all dead, who have we been hearing over the intercom? Imposters or ghosts?
