Looking back over the journal entries, it seems like during those two weeks or so where the little ghost girl possessed people, the Host wasn't entirely in control. The announcement that that whole event, plus the battle with the reflections that followed it, was just a mass hallucination, only makes me more sure of that.
It makes me wonder if maybe that girl has more power than the Host, or maybe, just maybe...the being called 'the Host' isn't the one who brought us here after all...
