Britney Spears is not as shocking, rude, or clever as Shakespeare
Shakespeare made the same joke as Britney Spears did in the controversial title of her most recent single "If You Seek Amy", in this line from Twelfth Night, spoken by Malvolio:
"By my life this is my lady's hand. These be her very C's, her U's and her T's and thus makes she her great P's"
I've seen that play several times, and read it, and I recognize that line, and until now that joke went completely over my head. I find it delightful to discover yet new things about the Bard's work.
