Zombies: the trend that just won't die.
I was looking in the humor section of borders the other day (ok, October, but it is another day!) and was miffed by the multitude of Zombie survival guide ripoffs. There must have been a dozen. The original was ok, but 12? Seriously? We need 12 different authors to tell us how to survive the apocalypse?
Anyway, my point is that the zombie trend is here to stay, and this is not always a bad thing. Last night I downloaded an extra mode for Red Dead Redemption, titled Undead Nightmare. at first, I thought "Zombies in the old west. Whopdie freakin do." Then I read about how there is also the horses of the Apocalypse, chupacabras, yetis, unicorns, and more guns. And that sealed the deal. Red Dead Redemption is a great stand-alone game, but I've never seen how Rockstar Studios handles zombie uprisings. and it is goooood.
