Good weekend
Had a good weekend, and the best part is I am off tomorrow for MLK day (Thank God for government holidays...how will I ever convert back to the private sector??).
Friday Dave and I had a pretty slow evening...I posted that night, come to think of it.
Saturday, we drove to Hanover to check out the Mazda dealer there. Dave is looking at buying a Mazda 3 and we wanted to see what other dealers in the area had besides the one in York. Had a great salesman, and they actually had one on the lot Dave was interested in---but we weren't expecting him to buy yesterday, and were caught a bit off guard. He is going to go back to Hanover tomorrow and talk to the salesman, and who knows...we may have a new vehicle. We'll just have to see!
Saturday evening we helped Dee and Walter (of the delicious and infamous National Grille restaurant across the street from us...mmm...good food...) move into their new place. They bought the building their restaurant is in, and were moving in upstairs, so we helped them out, and were rewarded with free hamburgers and french fries. mmm, mmm, mmm. Free food is wonderful. After that, we came home and Dave watched football...honestly, I can't recall what I did. I think I bought jewelry online and read my book....yeah, that sounds right.
Today I met Lori for lunch after Dave and I bought groceries, and we spent about 3 hours catching up. She lives here in York, but I never see her cuz I never do anything. I have to get better at that....seeing Lori, that is. Not doing things---screw that, it's always expensive to "do things" :)
I made a quick stop at the store after our lunch and got some cleaning supplies, then headed home. Dave's mom came over for dinner and had spaghetti with us, and that was nice. Since she left I've just been doing laundry and hanging out. I think Dave and I are going to watch March of the Penguins in a bit, and that'll finish up my Saturday night.
Tomorrow I need to drop off my benefits form at the eye doctor, get a new humidifier filter, and go to the dentist at 1pm. Making my dentist appointment on my day off seemed like a good idea 3 weeks ago, and now it sucks. Oh well, just gotta go and get it over with. Maybe I'll also stop at the doctor's office and get a records transfer form....I need to get all my info from Butler and Pittsburgh doctors transferred over here so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
