Amazing---I updated on Thursday and I'm doing it again. Craziness, sheer craziness.
Having a pretty good weekend.
Friday Dave and I played tennis after work and it was our best game yet. I was REALLY worknig my ass off to get to those tricky low/fast balls he kept sending my way everytime I got one past him....and it paid off, we both played amazingly well. We have a lot more fun when we're playing well, than when we suck and we're constantly chasing the ball--lol.
After tennis we came home and showered and cleaned up, and headed out for dinner. Unfortunately, the national grille, where we usually go, was sold out of his dinner specials (which is good, because it means they had a busy night, but it sucked for us!) so we went in search of someplace else to try. Generally, Dave and I stick with certan restaurants because it seems like when we go new places, it sucks, or we pay too much, or something! But, for lack of our better judgement, we decided on Italian, and ended up at a new place called Marcello's. It looked nice from the outside. :( We went in and were seated, and immediately noticed that they didn't include ANY sound-buffering material in the huge dining room. Which means that when the large party of "we-think-we're-rich-but-we're-so-far-from-it" people sitting in the middle of the room drinking wine and laughing AT THE TOP OF THEIR FREAKING LUNGS made it so loud in there Dave couldn't hear me speak to him across the table. Literally. So that sort of sucked, because we had to listen to these housing-development obnoxious suburban people laugh and pretend their are rich and famous the entire time we ate. :( We ordered, and our food was "so-so" but frankly, I make better italian and I'm not even italian. The olive garden had better italian than this place. It was incredibly disappointing. Luckily it was only $25 for the both of us, so it wasn't a huge dent in the budget.
Saturday, we ran some errands at the mall, and stopped in a matress place to see about a new one...Dave's is pretty worn out and we'd like to get a new one soon. Found one we like, so, as soon as we have the money, we'll get it.
Saturday night we went glo-bowling with Dan, Julie, Matt and Tracy and had a good time....I actually didn't suck that bad, managing to make it over 100 for 2 games, and the others I was at least in the high 90's. I'm no pro-bowler, but that's not bad for me! Especially since my arm was sore from tennis the day before, lol.
Today was grocery day, and since we had a really low grocery bill (Can you believe most weeks we only spend about $50-60 for both of us? We're damn good shoppers!)we'll probably go for a short drive later. I say short, because gasoline is freaking ridiculous at like $2.55.
That's all that is new here, another work week will start tomorrow, but I get paid this week, so it's alllllllll good.
