- i couldn't wait any longer and i bought a video ipod. IT IS MADE OF LOVE AND MANY EPISODES OF SUPERNATURAL. I WILL NO LONGER TAKE YOUR ABUSE STEVE *pours gasoline around the bed*
- speaking of which, my roommate informed me that people are already lining up outside of the nyc apple store (if you have to ask why, i really can't help you). not quite as bad as the star wars kids, but you know. i tried to tell my coworkers to expect this last week and they laughed at me. silly coworkers.
- did you know that joss isn't going to do astonishing x-men anymore? issue 21 was his last issue. *little tear*
- BUFFY SEASON EIGHT!! the comic shop boys are already askeeeered of the wrath of the buffy fans if joss doesn't finish an issue on time (as he is wont to do - hello, fray?). but srsly, it is almost as good as having the show back. i say almost because apparently the trade off for having joss write each issue is the fact that reading the issue takes all of 5 mins. i want my other 45 mins!
- never underestimate the value of clean clothes as i have, apparently.
- the last time i was in sunnyvale, i left my pjs at the hotel and didn't realise it until days later. i'm just glad it wasn't my planet pjs of awesome.
- on a similar note, i had the car rental place send me back a watch that they thought i'd left behind in the rental car, which i thought was rather nice of them except that it wasn't mine. i sent it back. i hope they ended up finding the rightful owner!
- i may or may not have watched two full seasons of "the office" over the memorial day weekend, which means i am now up-to-date. more on that in another post.
- also, john krasinski... v.tall, floppy brown hair, big grin, polish last name. yeah, doesn't remind me of anyone at all.
- i am still pissed about the heroes finale. YES STILL OKAY I HAVE PROBLEMS LETTING GO SOMETIMES. 21 episodes of awesome to be rewarded with that? i want that hour back so that i can use it to watch the supernatural finale again and just pretend i watched heroes. heroes, you are on notice.
- SUPERNATURAL SEASON TWO DVDS ORDERED BITCHES!
- kenneth branagh's hamlet ALSO ORDERED. WHEEEEEE! (no linky because i am lazy and also you'll never learn if i do everything for you!)
- rumours abound re. a full box set of twin peaks dvds. yes, and when will we have that then, when i'm 90? /sarcasm *hugs season 1, season 2 and bootleg pilot ep to self*
- doctor who series three to hit scifi channel starting july 6th. still no christopher eccleston, but oh boy are y'all in for a treat in the final three eps.
- if that leaves you in desperate need of a british tv show to download watch in the meantime, y'all should catch "life on mars" f'reals.
- my cat has fucking figured out how to OPEN THE SCREEN DOOR AND LET HERSELF OUT OF THE APARTMENT. i am- i have no words for this.
- ben and jerry's s'mores ice cream should taste better than it does. i think the graham cracker swirl thing was ill-conceived and wholly to blame.
- i am going on VACATION SHHH. it's only for a weekend but it's to a place where i am UNSURE OF BOTH INTARWEB AND CELL RECEPTION. ALSO THE SUN MAY BE INVOLVED. *iz skard*
- so i guess paul mccartney is going to play a "surprise" show at amoeba records on tomorrow? a) i'm not sure how much of a surprise it is now that it's posted on reuters; b) too bad i already have a ticket to the l.a. film festival for that night.
