I just learned that "dios boh-teek" means "thank you" in Mayan. and co-oh-sh is "lets go." There was others, but I forgot. Before I forgot these, I decided to post them.
is it bad to use ones looks for ones advantage? Take for instance today/right now. I went to the mexi-store next door. They sell sliced mangos in a cup, which is awesome because it allows me to eat my favorite fruit without getting it in my teef. They also have Hot Pepper Powder like in Mexico so you can sprinkle it on your mango, which makes it infinitely more amazing.
Any who, so I go to the store and they don't have any, but the girl is like "how many did you want?" I asked for two and she went to the back to make them for me. I sort of flirted with her yesterday when I bought them by making small conversation and reminiscing about how I freaking loved eating mangos in Mexico. Anyway, so she comes back out, and the two plastic cups are overflowing with mango.
I also bought some candy and Mexi-chips I haven't had since I was 12. I used to think this stuff was only in mexico. I was going crazy with the amazing treats they had that I used to have often as a child*. We had more small talk. I smiled big and thanked her "a million." she replied with "a million" you're welcomes as I kept smiling out the door.
I wonder how often I act like this; flirt, without noticing. To my defense, I didn't realize I was flirting until I noticed her reactions as I was leaving...but I think I do this often.
Ps. Makachi means "shut up." lol peck means "dog" and pahl means "boy."
*There used to be a small store in front of my grandma's house when I was a boy. In the early evening, in between cartoons, I would cross the street and buy chips, or candy once or twice a day. I feel like that small boy again.
