Damn. Nintendo was so close this time too. I really thought this would be the generation Nintendo would prove itself as the supreme video game creator.
Then this came about.

they announced the actual name of their new system, code named "revolution" previously, as being "Wii."
Of course they won't listen to the thousands of fans screaming today due to the ridiculous name of the "Nintendo Wii". As much as the name won't change the almost assured awesomeness of the console when it is released, this ridiculous name is going to drive the last nail through nintendo's coffin. What respectable person is going to enter a store and as for "Do you have .... for the Wii?"
