The Mystery of the Migrating Flamingos...Solved!
In case anyone was wondering....
The (plastic) flamingos that ended up residing on our lawn were pure-bred Florida flamingos, courtesy of Heathyr Lamb and her hubby Colin. She brought them from her home in Florida while visiting for ConClave, and got them to our friend Russ, who drove by and placed them on our lawn.
When told by a friend that 'you can buy plastic flaminos up here too you know. You didn't have to pack them in your luggage', Heathyr is reported to have replied 'But that's not the point! Then they wouldn't be FLORIDA flamingos!'
