Blast off to blogging: Being the newbie
Well, today i was in a why not mood. Why not have coffee instead of tea? Why not attempt driving to school (I'm a dreaded learner) instead of using the bus? Why not make a blog?
So here i am writing this hideous thing, not sure where i am going or aiming to go, the curse of the newbie.
Anyways i guess what am going to talk about is blogging from the perspective of a young 17 year old trying to break into a new media.
Firstly... I feel silly, it feels as if I'm talking to myself. This of course is not a bad thing! What is more fun than being in the comfort zone of ones inner mind ranting about the world and everyone in it. Whats not to love.
But out here in the great Internet swarming with flamers ready to blaze my ass, trolls hiding under that bridge ready leap out at me, I can't shake the feeling of impending doom.
I guess i should have done my research, read some blogs before i dived into this unknown abyss, however it has its unique alluring charms that appeal to something in all of us. Whether we just want to talk about the subjects we love or the life we live; everyone has something to share.
And it is on that note i end my first blog. I feel slightly warmer now. Whether this is pride or a fever on the horizon only time will tell.
