So it all started on Friday night. Dana picked me up at my place and we were off to have some food. Only we couldn't decide where to go. She was meeting up with some friends and they suggested just eating at Hurley's. So that's what we did. Only I didn't have food.. only Guinness. Strike number 1. It was full when we got there, but not terribly. We managed to find a table, but it was right near the band as they were setting up so we moved to my usual spot. More people showed up, including Melin's invisible boyfriend! This is the official "Do not forget who showed up" test for myself.
Dana, Josie, Dana's friends (2), Jess, Mil, Melinda, Mike(invisble bf, poked him to make sure he was real), John, Julie, Ryan, Danielle, Judyna, Alana, Meaghan, Julia, Mike2, Vanessa. I think that's all of them. I can't remember. I was double fisting Guinness all night, and had at least 2 shots with Danielle and 2 more with Dusty. Shared a cab home with Melin. Did not puke. Bonus
Saturday was brunch with the family. The usual suspects were there. Got to have all my favourite foods too. Hmmmm bake and bacon. And a bake to take home with me. Played some cards, talked to my girl and her mum, and had a marvelous time with the family as usual.
Saturday night I didn't really have anything planned until MahBitch called to wish me a happy birthday. And then she invited me for dinner. More Guinness... in a glass, and a cheese, and a bowl. Hockey watching and random stories full of pain once I realised that I had a nick on my knuckle and that it was bruised. Anyone see me punch anyone of Friday?
All I wanted for my birthday was to see my girl, and since that wasn't really an option, and I am planning a trip in May/June, all I asked for was a little help to do so without having to go bankrupt. Thank to lots of people I added a nice bundle to the SeSaSo Fund (as coined by keyef... the Send Sara to get Some fund). Em and I love you all.
