oh, i can hardly respond to this, for it requires more than i have room for :)
all i can say is: that's exactly what my thesis was, and my 5 mentors agreed-- it is possible to feel like your poem is practically a JOURNAL of yourself, and still have it be art. like the Confessionalists! sylvia! wee! i find myself to be a cross between sylvia plath and james schuyler.
mmm i just left BPL with thousands of pages of poetry, ranging from EE to bob dylan to levertov to schuyler to some unknown names.. weeee!! benefits of post-grad non-reading lists.
but i would love to explore this topic more in person or via phone or via penpalness.
i'm home and still without phone (and now without laptop, until i get another new charger, wahh) but i might leave bright and early wednesday because i just got 2 job calls and might need to go do an assignment and hopefully an interview. fingers xed. i hope i can see you tomorrow or something.. before wednesday !! :( :)
my mom and i are going to print more copies of my thesis tonite/tomorrow, i absolutely have to give or send you one, it's way overdue and might be fun to look at while you're doing yours!

firstly i am devestaed about lucky cat. I am so sorry, and hope it all turns out okay. I have been through that before. Secondly, I read my poem a few times. And I didn't like cry or anything. And Im starting to actually like it. But at the same time it is all blah "THESE ARE MY FEELINGS" all in black and white. Still getting use to it.

I am so sorry, and hope it all turns out okay. I have been through that before.
