Hello!

I'm busy and happy. Spring has come, and with that, I am out and about with friends.

Maybe I wil make this a knitting/food-recipe blog.

Today I made quinoa with sauteed bean sprouts, carrots, and a home-made dressing made of sesame seeds, flax seeds, ginger, lemon juice, basil, sesame oil, water and salt. I got this blender-thing for my birthday, so now I can make dressings like that! Which means I win.

Quinoa:
1 part quinoa, 2 parts water, salt.
Boil until quinoa is tender.

Bean sprouts:
Take a suitable amount of bean sprouts and wash 'em.
toast raisins, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, coriander, mustard seeds, and/or whichever curry-ish spices you have and like
Mix bean sprouts with spice-blend. Turn off heat.

Dressing:
sesame seeds, flax seeds, ginger, lemon juice, basil, sesame oil, water and salt.
Blend all ingredients. The consistency should be somewhat like paste.

Salad:
Empty your fridge. I diced some carrots and a tomato.
