Maybe the first time I'll get a killer tan.

I love having rain in my hair. I love rain on the ocean. I love rain on the trampoline. I love rain on the road. I love rain.

It's official. I have the crappiest yard in the whole world.

I really don't like you, Mr. Industry. Thanks for tearing out my future woods and planting houses in my view.

So I've had this really awesome plan in my head that just keeps on sounding awesomer and won't get out. I need to find a beach. An abandoned beach. Some place where nobody ever goes; maybe because it's private property. I need to find a shack on that beach. Just a little simple hut. No running water, no electricity. Maybe I'll need some pots around to catch roof leakage when it rains. My only link to civilization will be a cellphone and a car in case of emergency or supply restock. A few basic supplies such as fishing gear to catch fish if I can and some natural foodstuffs I can use for cooking. If there's any clamming options I'd like to try my hand at making fresh clam chowder too. No books. Just a Bible. I just need to get away from it all. It's so hard to connect with God when everything else is clamoring for your attention. There's so many distractions that I look to everywhere but to You, Jesus. I'm sorry. I hope this can be a real connection meeting for Daddy and daughter. Just You and me and so much to do.

This should last about a month.

Obviously, it will have to wait till I'm out of school and have some more moolah to come up with supplies. It would be nice to have someone with me on this experience; it would be very hard to be all alone in hermitage out there and I'm sure the contact made would be... life changing. But maybe I just need to do it on my own. We'll see.
