Lynnwood,Washington watch out naw!!!!

The next Macaroni Grill opening I'm doing is this Saturday from Nov. 27th thru Dec. 8th ............... and from reading the new itinerary I got, I'm going to be a happy camper. We were spoiled on the last opening in Portland, Oregon (well Hilsboro to be exact). I just got back from that one two Saturdays ago. We had suites baby. You don't understand, it's so hard to come home to a small hotel room with no utilities like some of the other openings I've been on. In Portland we had a room with couches, full size fridge, kitches, microwave, yada yada yada. Not to mention it was right across the street from the new restaurant and all the stores and restaurants we wanted to go to were right down the street, except for the downtown stuff.

This opening out in Lynnwood, Washington near Seattle is more of the same. We're staying at a Hampton Inn Suites which is right down the street from the Alderwood Mall down there. So that means there's prolly a ton of other shit to do down that way. Our rooms, have couches, desks, kitchens. PIMP!!!!!!! The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub. PIMP!!!!!!! Haha some rooms actually have whirlpools in them. Now wouldn't that be pimp! Free wine and beer bar. More PIMPNESS!!!

I'm excited. A buddy of mine who I met on the Puente Hills, CA opening now works in another one in Seattle and will be doing the opening I'm going to be at. He obviously lives down there, so he knows his way around. From everything he's said, there's tons of stuff at night to do, especially the bar scene and I cannot wait. The only thing I'm not excited about is that all the big whigs are on this opening. So w've got to be a little bit more cautious in our free time. I'm sure there's going to be a power struggle of some sort. You see on these openings we always have a Captain and an assistant captain. Both on this one happen to full-time captains on other openings. They have two completely different styles and personalities. Ones a coke head who sleeps no more than 2 hours a night. That would 'splain how he's gone on 16 straight openings. The other is just a little dictator.

I swear though, if anymore backstabbing goes on on this opening, I'm going to stop doing them. You see going on openings gives you the chance to meet all the right people if you want to move up in the company, especially corporate or any of the companies franchising the restaurant. People backstab each other on these things like little bitches, just to get ahead and it's disgusting. I for one never put up with it, so people know not to mess with me. The moment someone starts gossipping or talking in a snitch way about someone else I just walk away.
