..........this is one of the first pictures I got back from my cousin's wedding this past weekend. It was taken at the "out of towners" dinner....... That's me and my father. The oldest guy on the left is a distant cousin of mine, Milton Rube........... he's a Rabbi and I swear has married nearly every single couple in my family tree.
Milt told me a funny story at the brunch this past Sunday......... he mentioned how he recently discovered he had some new relatives which he had never known about. They were from Peru and recently moved to Florida. The humorous thing about it is that they're all Rubes too and their names are like Benito Rube and Juanito Rube......... hahah how funny is that??? I don't know maybe it's just funny to me, but it's just a funny mixing of ethnicities and you can see it in the name. That would be like hearing about a Jamal Goldstein or a Takashi Perelman .... lol ...... and I guess he's got some great-cousins who are about a year old, they're twins......he showed me the picture of them and one is completely hispanic looking and the other is completely caucasian looking.
