I decided to spend my evening finished The Institute by Stephen King, and that was time well spent. I'm a little irritated that there's no Nook app for a laptop, but whatever. The book was great. I had minor quibbles, mostly about the slang and some of the language used that's probably commonplace in Main/the Northeast and isn't anywhere else, but that was pretty minor.
I liked the way the book ended, I loved the characters, and I loved the message. Actually, it reminds me a lot of Salem's Lot (which was referenced), and I need to read that one again. It's that time of the year.
