So, what better to follow up a post on handing in my final year project, than a post about exams!
Today was the Quantum exam. The past two maths exams went horribly, but this one went well. Very well in fact. Disturbingly well. I'm not complaining mind you, this is a good thing.
This was also my last exam. Not just for the subject or for the year, but of university. This was the last exam, in fact the last piece of work, that university will require me to do. This is very strange. I entered in to the education system formally at the age of four. I'm now 22 and I'm about to leave it. That's about 18 years of edumacation without a break. About 82% of my life. On the other hand, I'm probably somewhere around 1/4 through my life and have never had to get a 'real job', which seems pretty good.
Conclusion: Weird.
In other news, I spent the money I got for my birthday on a DS lite. It's navy blue and is immigrating from Japan. I've brought it a nice little set of accessories to help it settle in. Should be here any day now. I also have a new mp3 player since my other one died a while back, and a stable gun because my chair is falling to bits and I'm going to fix it. Plus I've always wanted one (I'll slowly work my way up to drills and such, think of this as baby dyke's first power tool).
As for the next week or so, I think I shall relax, slowly poke my CV, start working my way through that list of 'things to do once I finish uni' I made (if I can find it), read some of the books on my pile, and finally do some work on The RPG.
