Reality check has arrived..no surprise there
Yeah..classes started today. I survived! Yay! Of course, it looks like this semester will be more challenging than last fall. Music history 3 is going to kick my ass if I don't have a good grip on it and this legal environment of business class I have, not really sure what will happen with that one. The professor is very..unique. Yeah, it's not a bad thing, just he's very different.
My schedule is in the works. I have piano lessons on my course list finally. Then I'm having a meeting at the Writer's Studio Friday to discuss the work schedule. I'm debating on cutting back on my current 4 hours. I know, not much to begin with, but I don't want to overwhelm myself. I have this gut feeling that this semester isn't going to easy and maybe I'll have to sacrifice the hours I work, even if that means losing cash.
One thing that was nice today was my first class was at 11am. Then again, it was music history. The class that gave me a paper to write for Friday. Ewww.. Okay, okay..I'll stop my whining. I'm just getting used to homework, that's all.
Hmm..it's been a fun evening tho. Once I got thru with my commitments, I found myself enjoying hanging out with the gals. Liz baked chocolate chip cookies. C'mon..talk about great. I had 6..more will go in my belly in the next 24 hours. =) Otherwise, my bedroom has gotten some attention. It's been interesting conversation among the 4 of us. We are all quite dirty in talk and it just makes it more entertaining and then we have these times we talk about more intellectual issues and shift back to being silly. Hopefully the people downstairs weren't bothered by our laughter and dorkiness. I admit, it's still lingering in me, but I think it's over for the night. I'm debating on whether to start that damn paper. I have an hour or two before I should go to bed. Well, time to make a decision. Until next time.
