(no subject)
Well, it's cool having my sister around, however, coming home from work tonight, my mom said that what was thought to be a pesky mosquito bite was worse. Apparently, the bite on her leg was from a tick, the kind that gives people lyme disease. She had to go to a nearby walk-in clinic to confirm my mom's suspicions. Sucks for her because this is her vacation and she has some stuff in honor of her this weekend (aka bridal shower). This isn't the first time for her to get lyme, but she's gotta be medicated for a few weeks and I feel bad that of all the things to sneak up on her, it had to be this. I hope she'll manage. Definitely not the best timing. I get to look after her during the day, which is alright, but there's not much I can do. Stupid tick. Why did it decide to choose her again?
Aside from the sucky news about Susan, I'm feeling good. I found out my raise at work was 50 cents. So now, I make over 8 bucks! Otherwise, not too much new with me. And I'm off...
