Not too long before my head hits a pillow and a cozy bed
Talk about a blast from the past. I made some spontaneous plans with friends from high school today. Got myself out of working even tho it was last minute. Thus, I was able to be with my friends (Julie, Jeremy, Ami, Becky, and some of Jeremy's cousins) practically the whole afternoon and evening. We ended up going tubing on the Farmington River. It was fun and I got some sun. A little too much on my legs, but it will get better. Got a bite to eat with the gang and then later drove in another direction to a relative's house of one of my friend's. They had a hot tub there and we hung out and talked. Didn't get home until 11pm tonight. Nice change to be out of the house and with people I haven't seen in a while. One of them for about 2 years and the rest about a year. Although, so much of what we talked about was related to high school. I definitely feel like I've left that chapter of my life, but there was no harm in bringing up memories. Anyways, today was good. Felt like I broke away from the routine.
