Ahaha, because I already had such copious amounts of free time (*habana sob*[1]), I've fallen head first into another fandom. Hello, Almost Human! Dorian is a darling. And I knew I recognised him from somewhere! The actor has been in the short-lived series Flashforward.
The show is a bit of a "it's that guy!" reunion - the mostly-human cop is played by Eomer, whom I wouldn't have recognised without the opening credits. Ragetti from Pirates of the Caribbean is cast as the quirky scientist, and I keep wondering where he misplaced his good mate Pintel. (Also, for
daegaer: one of the actresses is named Minka. :D The character is sadly unMinkaish.)

Also re: copious spare time, I can't stop playing Look for Longer 2 - a punny game of "guess the tube station" (well, tube + Overground + DLR). You don't need to live in London to play! All you need is the standard tube map and a willingness to be accomplice to visual punning of the highest degree.
Supernatural has been watched, and if I had more fannish energy I would be more upset about certain things, and more excited about others. As it is, it hasn't been my main fannish thing for a long time, and I'm more of a consumer nowadays rather than "actively engaging with the media", which is just lucky.
