(no subject)
I'm baaack!
The only flaw of this holiday has been its length - I could have happily done one more week of Stockholm-and-surroundings and never got bored. Lakes and forests, sun and wind! (Rain too, and some mighty thunder - but we were watching Thor, so it was only fitting.)
I am now initiated into the ways of the Avengers! The (heh, tag wrangler training kicks in) "Marvel Cinematic Universe" is now open to me! Well, I still have Iron Man 2 and 3 to see, but Captain America, Thor, and Avengers (2012) have been achieved. \o/
I still tried to do ALL THE THINGS, because of brain weasels, so I'm not entirely relaxed. *makes note for future holidays*
One of the best days has consisted of strolling in a forest on an island reached by two hours on a boat. I'd like to do more of that, with less time pressure though. The smell of cool, damp forest, the endless variations of green - trees, evergreens, moss, lichen on stones, grass, sun filtering through interlocked layers of leaves...
Other excellent parts involved friendly slashers - watching films, discussing them through the fannish lens, pawing at fannish collector's items, and playing fannish games.
