placeholder squee and actual squee
Because I am quite possibly nuts I've spent way too many nights watching tv shows and movies and in no way reading HP fanfic *cough*, and by the time I'm done I can only crawl to the bed - hence, no lj-squee time.
I watched Day Watch (the sequel to Night Watch) the other night, quite by accident, really. I just wanted to check if the subtitles did, indeed, match the video - as the movie is in Russian, subtitles are quite essential. It turned out they did. It also turned out I couldn't stop watching, so more than 2 hours later (~4am) I could only say to myself "OMT squee wow!" before collapsing on the bed.

Also, where is the Heroes squee on my flist? Do I have to write it, I wonder? :P
Wow, this show is going to fuck with our heads, isn't it? And make us like it. :D I was very tired so my guard was down, if I could fear for 5 whole minutes that they really killed Isaac. Luckily I remembered he really is part of the regular cast, but man, I'm getting more and more wary of tv shows messing with my beloved characters. Also, I should have guessed it because that part of the story was around Hiro, and you can't expect to be perfect at teleporting from the second try, right? :) So there are two witnesses of sorts to the big Boom. Oh, and how I loved that Isaac drew the comic book with Hiro? Dude, thiiiiiiiis much. So now they're connected too, sort of.
But as far as not!deaths go, dude! The gore is back with a vengeance! I was just discussing with Lilalo about the differences between the unaired pilot and the aired one, and I thought "look, they're cutting down on the gore!" (wrt the cut hand / O.D.-ing swap) Turns out they were just saving it for later... Let's not even mention the actual deaths. *shudders*
Mind-reading! Do they know how much I love mind-reading?! But Matt, first rule of mind reading is - you do not talk about the mind reading! *hugs him anyway*
I'm surprised that they went with both Petrellis having the flight ability. I hope they don't forget about the empathic connection, at first I though that was going to be Peter's power and Nathan was going to be the only one flying. However on genetic bases it works, it's just that shows don't tend to have two people with the same special skill.

Aw, Mohinder defending himself with the elephant! I wonder about the girl who rescued him and who turned out to have been such close friends with his father.
Claire, your daddy is creepy! Run!
Much love for the whole cast, so far. Except maybe Simone lost points for selfishness. Dude, the guy is trying to show you that he's aware of an Apocalypse-equivalent and you think it should be all about you? I hope she gets better.
