I can't say I agree. I didn't vote for Bush and I did vote for Kerry. I would have preferred Dean or perhaps even Kucinich. I agree with a good deal of what Kerry had to say but even if I agreed with him less I would have voted for him.
I think it would be better to allow things to improve a little bit (maybe less than they could with another candidate) than to remain stagnant or (as I feel the case will be) to get worse by letting Bush have the presidency.

That of course is just my opinion.

i felt like i agreed with what kerry had to say because he was saying normal democratic things to say and i have democratic views.

i totally felt he would have done a better job than bush and i wanted him to win. i just think that neither of them were the best people for the job.
