ONE ONE ONE ONE (1.1.11)

Taking time to give thanks to God has got to be one of the most meaningful ways to spend the last day of the year. It certainly gives a warm fuzzy feeling to hear stories of God's faithfulness and His divine interventions in so many individual's lives.
There are just so many things to thank God for.

I thank God for a house over my head cos I've encountered more homeless people this  year and I've learnt to really appreciate the roof I have over my head. (cheesy as this sounds)

I thank God for the privilege to serve Him, to be used by Him.
I could always do more. I don't know what's stopping me.

I thank God for giving me a year of break from studies and for providing sufficiently for me through my part-time jobs (yes, three of them)

I thank God for his divine planning. So divine that it has more or less defined the next 6 years of my life.

I thank God for my mother, who has done practically everything for me and who loves me so much.

I thank God for Chris, the boyfriend, the best friend, the one who tolerates my nonsense and my un-funny jokes. The one who I get into all sorts of silly quarrels with. The one who always has words of wisdom and insight into life. The one who always believes in me.

I thank God for my health. I just went for a checkup on the 31st and had some sad news. On the bright side, I thank God that I'm not dying and I've actually been doing quite well.

I thank God for girlfriends whom I can lean on, laugh with, rant with and talk about things that I can't talk about with most people.

I thank God for the moments we had together. I aim to have more precious moments with my Creator.

I thank God for every person that I have crossed path with. For people who brought out the best in me, for people who brought out the worst in me. Every moment is a lesson learnt, every moment an imprint on me, to develop my character and to slowly mold me into a better person. I'm far from anything good.

SO.

While I can't explain how the phrase HAPPY NEW YEAR PULL YOUR EAR makes sense, here's a blessed 2011 ahead from the both of us! (it's not very clear but that's me pulling his ear)
