Talking with you never gets boring even when it seems so to others
We learn new things about each other everyday.
G: You know, my kid gave me a mooncake from Shangri-la today. (insert greedy face)
C: Really?
G: Yeah and it is the double yolk one.
C: Wow that's nice.
G: But I don't like mooncakes with yolks in them.
C: (shocked) Why not?!
G: I don't know, they taste funny. They ruin the taste of the lotus paste and it doesn't taste as sweet anymore.
C: I love the yolks. Especially if it has double yolks. You should just give them to me next time.
G: Yeah I usually like the yolks in eggs but I don't know why I just don't like the yolks in mooncakes.
C: That's cos the yolks are from salted eggs.
G: Oh really? Hmm. Okay. I've never eaten salted eggs before.
C: YOU'VE NEVER EATEN SALTED EGGS BEFORE?!!!?!!?!?! How can you not have eaten salted eggs before!
Yeppppp. New things everyday.
G: So which flavour of Ben & Jerry's did you buy?
C: Cookie Affair. My brother bought another flavour. Munchie Monkey. The banana flavoured one.
G: Noooo. Munchie Monkey is the cafe in NUS! The banana ice-cream's called Chubby Hubby!
C: Ohh! Right! But wait, I thought there was the word 'monkey' inside.
(pause) Yeah there is la! It's CHUNKY MONKEY!
G: Haha! Oh yahh. Where on earth did Chubby Hubby come from then. Well at least I got the first three letters right.
C: How about I got the last WORD correct?!
[Turns out that Chubby Hubby is another flavour from Ben & Jerry's.]

I still think the Macadamia Nut flavoured ice-cream from Häagen Daaz is better than any B&J ice-cream.
And of course, WE think that Tom's palette serves the best sea-salt caramel ice-cream. Our #1 favourite.
