of which the blue skies and sun came out to play

so dreamy it was..
..and God was good cos he made the sun shine

Despite the rains on the first day, I am thankful that we managed to get our rooms upgraded and we had complimentary breakfast for 2 days for the extra 2 people! We paid really little for a comfortable stay at the Marriot.

And of course, our daily massages at the spa. I can't decide if 3 days of massage is too much or not.

I miss you oh scrumptious food! Although we ordered almost the exact same dishes each time we ate, I was really satisfied. My tummy can vouch for that.

In other words, a typical Singaporean would always order: Crab. Kang Kong. Squid. Stingray & prawns(maybe). Tom Yam soup.
My only disappointment was that the crabs aren't as big as I wanted them to be.
Give me giant crabs!!

Phi Phi Islands was great fun. Despite the dark clouds that greeted us upon arrival at the harbour, and despite the slight drizzle that started the moment we started our boat ride, God was good and he held up the rain!

The boat ride there was sure an exciting one and we had a really funny tour guide who called himself Jasmine.

All excited to try out snorkeling for the first time!

Finally, some clear skies and crystal blue waters!

Our only beach group shot from the whole trip.

After island hopping and having a really pleasant lunch stopover, we headed off to another beach for some relaxing.
By then the sun was almost gone and grey skies loomed overhead.
The weather was actually really cooling and I fell asleep resting on the deck chairs until it was time to go off.

3 days is too short a time to spend at a beach..
As such, I am thinking of planning another beach holiday soon.
Like, boracay.
