Short Traveling Musings

Boston rocks my (Red)Sox, big time. I miss Boston and the people and the life there...
I miss my room. I miss the dining hall. I miss crashing other people's room past midnight. I miss taking the T. I miss everything.
Although I though have lots to do now that I cant.

Spent the last night at dinner with the wonderful floormates and desserts with Sabrina at Finale..

SO.

Have been so busy the past week that I have no time to gather my thoughts.
Packing up was one horrible last minute mess. Blame it on my time management problems. I packed way last minute and overestimated the amount of things I can bring along. As a results, my luggage weighs really heavy...and when we took the NY subway, we almost died trying to carry it up and down.

The rest managed perfectly well with theirs, only mine was so heavy that we couldn't budge it. I was so lousy that I couldn't do anything. So anyway, I just stood there and looked helpless, and nice guys all offered their help. Much to relief for the 4 of us.

NY was great. Jeannie and I caught "HAIRSPRAY" & "MARY POPPINS".
THEY WERE SO SO GOOD. Plus, tickets were 50% and our seats were really good! I am so satisfied.

Took a horse carriage at Central Park and laid on the grass just enjoying the sun and simply, hanging out.

Applebees, Bubba Gump & xiao long bao at Chinatown with Cynthia. I totally loved the food.

In Virginia at this very instant..meeting up with Daryl and Dael and Xianjie..

We girls rented a car and we headed to the Virginia Bazaar and to this Labanese Food Festival. The food was simply awesome. Can't describe it with words at all. The bazaar was full of interesting objects and cheap deals. Vintage jewellery, cheap CDs... all sorts of random things.(Jeannie and I realized the cute guy who played Link in Hairspray used to be in O-town!!)

Went up to Shenandoah Caverns this morning..and the manager of the place was so nice to offer us 50% discount on the tickets.
King's Dominion after that with the rest and the rides was so thrilling ! Jeannie and I took like 5 rides in 2 hours only. We went there 2 hours before the park closes and we got in with cheaper tickets. Daryl and Dael, (those who were working there went in for free. )

Nonetheless. the rides were fun! Saying that, I think I am getting too old for these.

That being said, I have kinda lost the drive to blog properly. My heart is still in Boston, and i kinda feel a tiny bit empty inside.. like something is missing somewhat.

Well but i still thank God for giving me these wonderful people on this trip...and for watching over us each and every step of the way. God has been there watching everything, holding my life up and still being there...

until then, good night world.

friends, travel
