How BU works is such that exams usually start on the same time slot as your lectures. That way you can be sure that nothing clashes. It is not something to be assumed, however.
I expected my Biology paper to start at 11am, like how all my lectures and exams have been these past weeks. So I went to bed, arranging to meet Puay for breakfast at 930am, happily thinking that I have about an hour to go through my notes again.
Somehow I had this nagging feeling that I should check what time my exam starts. Somehow I felt that something was wrong and that for some reason whatsoever, my paper isn't at 11am in the morning.
Somehow.
Turns out I was right..
Early in the morning at 845am, I logged onto the BU network and discovered to my horror that my paper starts at 9am ! (Yes that is 15 minutes away) I have never gotten ready in 5 minutes before. Rushed all the way to campus wondering how can I be so careless?
I am so glad that I stay just 10 minutes away! Obviously made it in time. To add on, our lecturer took some time in getting our papers so I still had time to read through my notes, catch my breath and settle in.
THANK GOD I didn't miss the paper!!

Strangely enough, my dearest Beverley Ong surprised me with a message in the morning, greeting me with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
And later on in the day Paul told me that he almost wished me happy birthday as well. Hmmm.
