Pam's Great Life: Day 1

May 19, 2013 15:13

So today was the first day of class at Edinboro for my 3-week summer course. I'm taking Advanced Reporting, and so far the class seems great. I'm writing a proposal tonight for a story series about Northwestern Pennsylvania losing its history.

After class, I went to the gym for some cardio and stuff. I spent 15 minutes on a sit-down bike kind of thing, one of the ones low to the ground, I dunno what it is. That was very tiring. Then I got on the treadmill for another 15, mostly walking quickly, but for 3 minutes I was jogging. Then I went on a stationary bike thing for like 5 minutes. I burned like 300 calories, I'm very proud of myself.

Then I walked to Loveland to grab the room keys from Brendan, then walked to the Do-It Center to get the keys copied, then walked back to the room where I am now. At the Do-It Center, some dude was talking to his buddy, and was like, "Didja hear about what they made legal last night? Gay marriage, man. San Fransisco is like the gay capital of the world already. I think all the gays should just go over there in California. Or actually, I think all the oddballs should just move out there...all the non-whites."

I mean...maybe these assholes deserve to lose their history. Maybe I'll put that spin on my story.

Oh, and I'm eating well too. So is Brendan. Very proud.
