One day at a time ...

So Tonight I met with Frank one last time before I hit the road for travel season. I thought our last training session would be a nice little review of everything we've worked on so far, maybe a few little techniques I could use on the road to keep my muscle in peek shape ... OH NO! Frank decides we are going to do a total body hell session. I lifted weights with my biceps, triceps, shoulders, wrists, quads, hamstrings, calves (ouch burning), I crunched my abs, squatted with my thighs,and benched more weight then I thought possible. THEN he decided we were going to do "dynamic running drills". This consisted of running laps while doing shuffles, grapevines, high knee lifts, back kicks, backwards running, and skipping, yes I said skipping. OH wait there's more ... I was then challenged to do that weird army move where you touch your toes, stand up, tough your toes again, then you plant your hands and jump back so you're in push up position then jump your feet back in again and stand up and start ALL over. Are you tired yet, I sure am. Please keep in mind this all took place in about an hour and after I had already run 2 miles as a "warm up". Even after this invigorating workout I still enjoy breaking a good sweat. Well on that note I"m going to hit the showers and slip into a peaceful slumber ...
