alcohol edu ... for those of you who are already alcoholics

ok ... so this weekend brought me to a special conclusion. I am baby steping my way to alcoholism... let me share why i know this.

*The Story*
So I am down in my Gramma's basement (for further reference I will call her Gigi). I am cleaning stuff up because I need to make room for my college stuff. About an hour into this cleaning extravaganza I come across this box *gasp* filled with hard liqour. *Hmm* I've hit the jackpot ... as Gigi says "Oh what is that". Damn. "I dont know Gigi, I just found it here in the corner looks like alcohol". So I will spare you the whole story that I got... but after about 20 mins. I come to find that the box I have found (obviously by fate) is left over liqour from my parents marrige. Holly mother of all that is alcoholic that is some old (aged to perfection) expensive alcohol. This is when I sweetly ask her "So Gigi, what do you want me to do with it. Do you want me to carry it up to the kitchen?" She pauses *LOUD NOISES* Washing machine is done. She has still has no respose. I go up to take stuff out of the washer. This is when I hear my sweet old Grandmother in the kitchen. *Eyes fill with panic and fear* Not one step into the kitchen and I want to scream "WHAT ARE YOU DOING !!!". Gigi is pouring about half of a bottle of volka down the drain. Being the cool cat I am I yell "OH MY GOD" instead. Yeah, I know... wait ago Jessica. Gigi looks up slightly confused "Something wrong Jess?". *Yeah, you are pouring good alcohol down the drain* "No Gigi, I just can't believe you carried all that up stairs. You should have let me help". So again I get a 20 min story in which she basically tells me she wants to offer the really nice stuff to my parents, (as she starts to pour left over pepermint schnops down the drain) but the rest that wasnt so nice she didnt think she could get rid of.
What was she thinking ... Hello, college kid right here ... wants alcohol ... can't afford it.

So in retrospect I obviously want some alcohol.

I leave this entry with a song written by Brianna J. Needle
(It is to be sung to the tune of the Barney song)

I hate you...You hate me
Lets all drink till we're past sobriety
Then we'll have lots of fun
And love each other to
Alcohol is great for me and you

-you know you love me-
