"...Blazing Beacon of Truth..." Haha, that's funny, you made me laugh. Really? You think it's gross and unnecessary? I honestly wish I could ignore it too, and I don't want to argue with anyone, especially you, which is why I have ended up deleting practically all comments I have ever made to you. I don't want to argue with trolls which is why I repeatedly told him and her and the any other ones to cease all contact with me, which they, of course, ignored.

What makes me think you know? Well you have the IP addresses, that for one would lead me to that conclusion, and you are the target of most of that crap, so I would think you would at least have an inkling as to the identification of the people behind that. In light of you also wanting to be left alone by them, I would not be offended in the least if you deleted or screened both of these comments, since this Blazing Beacon of Truth seems to also attract those whose not only can't see it, but whose lives are spent denying its very existence--and you know they will find this. Now I must get back to my seemingly endless hell of highlighting.

unfortunately on that matter they didn't technically initiate contact with you--they commented on my journal, which you also commented on, etc etc. unfortunately arguing with them only makes them post more, which is why i usually choose to ignore them
ip addresses don't really say much, either. i can track them to locations. most of these douchebags use some sort of redirection technique too as i'm sure none of the anonymous comments are coming from some of these locations
in review: responding to them gives them a reason to live. this is highly undesirable.

In the most recent one, yes, but on this and most of the others, I commented on your journal and exchanged a series of comments with you and they then directly commented to me with some sort of insipid, unintelligible nonsense. I try to ignore them, but I often feel compelled to do otherwise.
Yes I agree responding to them gives them satisfaction, but in not responding I feel that it gives the appearance of acquiescence and the illusion of validity to their comments that are not complete gibberish, but are ad hominem arguments instead.

Yeah, I've gotten that too - people commenting on my comments on Helen's comments on someone else's commenting on etc. There's really no point in responding; neither you nor they are gonna cede any ground, especially since their whole raison d'etre is to get a rise out of someone without having to worry about consequences. While you're getting mad, they're getting off - perhaps literally. Some people live to get a rise out of others. (Of course, there are those who live to have a rise gotten out of them. I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons why people like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage get such high ratings, even though their views are, in my opinion, abhorrant. But that's a complete tangent.) Of course, that's just my two cents, and I'm only inserting myself in here because it's a slow workday.

I agree with you, and their/his self-esteem lies in tearing down people that are threatening to their fantasy world and egos bloated without warrant. It's hard to cede ground when you are in the right--actually in the right, and not in some delusional, grandiose twisted perversion of reality. Maybe they will O.D. someday soon and we won't hear from them again.
