I've been bitch-slapped by figures of speech. then again, "bitch-slapped" is another lame figure of speech. so I'll shut up now. ...worry about the cats and go to sleep.
I just recently got set-up (for a date) by a friend. not too pleased. I was intrigued by the first line. can my friends set me up with someone not insane? a thought.
try again, that's the 366th day! i'm moving to have the universe closed for maintenance, but it's not looking possible. maybe if i wander around telling people "today isn't actually happening!" but someone would probably just, uh, bitch-slap me
i think the idea of being 'set up' for a date has a little too much in common with the idea of being 'set up' for some sort of arrest or other legal annoyance for any good to come of it, but then again, i'm paranoid insane people make for better stories however
I think we should go around and say "today isn't actually happening" - sounds like amazing performance art. people will think we're insane, which is always amusing;)
that would be heaps of fun. what sort of voice would be best to say it in though. i'm thinking sort of conspiratorially, like we're doing them a favor by letting them know that theoretically that's not oxygen you're breathing right now, buddy
hmm where could this best be pulled off. definitely not my neighborhood, they'd think it was IRONIC & try to sell us t shirts from summer camps that never existed. shit & even better it's a friday. gotta hit 'em where they're awkward.
friday as in, the 29th? because that's the day this has to go down...we can remind people that SCIENCE says feb has only 28 days, etc...need to come up with a script for more definitive remarks, but at least tonight i'll be writing everything BUT the paper i have to submit tomorrow, so it might even happen
I don't believe in gravity nor do I breathe your polluted airmajor_hissyFebruary 16 2008, 13:29:20 UTC
You are rarely "amusing".
I think it stems from your inability to truly create anything of lasting aesthetic value, so you overcompensate by trying to "provoke" a reaction in the most contrived manner imagineable.
you specialize in being a "victim" . . . these so called nasty trolls barely acknowledge your dismal existence.
