valentine's day (if you don't want to hear it you don't have to read it)
So yeah, valentine's day was good, as was friday, the day before valentine's day. TJ had roses delivered to me, purple ones, they're gorgeous, and came in this pretty glass vase, so I actually have a vase now, and with a little box of chocolates. Then we exchanged presents (we figured might as well since I'd already gotten my flowers) I got him a white ceramic frame with you and me forever written on it, and he got me those bears from hallmark where they have magnets and they kiss, and when they kiss the girl bear blushes. I was happy, I think those are so cute.
Oh, and before that we ran some food to his friend Becky, cause she was staying at the horse stable all night because some of the mares there are pregnant and I guess they have these thingies where they sit there all night to see if they foal, and of course if they do so they can call someone. I petted the horsies a lil, and then they had a few cats running around and I petted the kitties a lot, there was this one fuzzy orange kitty that was so cute and reminded me of a kitty I used to have and I wanted to keep it.
After that we watched Legally Blonde and Joe Versus the Volcano, it was interesting, different, for the longest time I thought he was having a dream and then I was notified by TJ that it actually wasn't a dream. So I think that was kinda' crappily done, but for the most part it was a good movie. I like Meg Ryan though, so...
Then valentine's day morning we went to get breakfast at Poblano Grill/The Corner Diner, whichever you want to call it, and we went to get our pictures taken, got a fairly cute one of us, only thing is they didn't have a size that'll fit in the frame I got TJ, which kinda' sucks, but oh well, and it took us a while to find a place that was talking walk-ins, which we should've made reservations somewhere but I didn't think about it, plus with being sick you know... Then we went to dinner at Chicago Underground, and they actually served me which was kinda' surprising, I got a Morning After Martini, it was good, a bit strong, but good, and the cheesecake was as good as TJ's moms (I highly recommend their cheesecake, so yummy). Then we watched Love Actually which I personally think is an awesome movie. Then we were leaving the student center and I had a wierd craving to go bowling, so we bowled a couple games and then went back to his room. So yeah, it was a good valentines day.
Well, actually there was one bad thing about the day. I was taking my shower before we went to go get our hair cut, and I went to shave my legs, and I found out someone else has been using my razor, there were dark brown hairs all in it, and um, yeah, I don't have dark brown hairs anywhere on my body. So yeah, that kinda' creeped me out. I mean, I share a razor with my mom, and like if it was a good friend, or if I even knew who it was I may not have as much of a problem with it, but I don't even know who has been using it, no one asked to use it, and I don't know them well enough that I really like the idea of them using my razor. But, yeah, anyway, I took my razor out of the shower (it was suction cupped to the wall) so now I'll know I'm the only one using it. K, I should go now, bye everyone.
