NLC3 - The Ring Legacy Gen 2 Pt 2

Jul 05, 2010 14:25

Welcome back to the Ring Legacy!

Narya managed to collect enough basic sarcophagus pieces to reconstruct one at home. Now I have to keep an eye on everyone because they keep wanting to sleep in there instead of their own beds.

And here is the reason Narya had to run off to Egypt so quickly after Gordon moved in. There is a bun in that oven!

Having the Green Thumb trait means that she can resurrect the death flower bush. Only worked the once, though, so they have 2 death flowers in case I feel the need to use them.

The headdesking while writing novels continues. I'm surprised she hasn't developed a case of qwertyitis.

Gordon provides fan service by painting in his leopard print undies.

Seems to be working since Narya ran out to give him a smooch.

I find it really sweet that TS3 sims roll wants to interact with a pregnant sim's belly.

Gordon is a good daddy-to-be.

I have no idea how he hid that box inside those tight little shorts.

Narya also seems impressed.

There was no question of her refusing.

Quickie engagements and weddings seem to be a staple with me. I might actually have to go to the effort of throwing a wedding party one of these days.

There wasn't really time for that, though, since the birth happened that night.

One of the quirks of having any form of locomotion in the inventory - the sim rides to the hospital. At lease it wasn't a bike?

Say hello to Decoder and Belles Will.

This generation's kids are being named after bands. I fear for any subsequent kids because those two names were the best of the bunch.

The sink broken by the maid got replaced and upgraded to unbreakable by The One.

Gordon... That is not an appropriate dance move to be using with your elderly mother-in-law!

The next day it was time for some birthdays.

Yes, the baby is blocking the path to the fridge. You put her there.

I seem to have forgotten to take any pictures of the twins. Have some backs of heads. Belles Will on the left with Gordon, Decoder on the right with Narya.

Seriously, though, I totally forgot to take any toddler "face show-off" pics of the girls so there might be some incidental pics in the update but nothing specifically intended to show what they look like.

Narya got interrupted while grilling hot dogs. The little flame in the back of the grill...

...turned into a towering inferno needing to be put out with TWO fire extinguichers.

Why do they always choose this spot to read to the kids?

Molly: We got a food replicator. Watch and learn.

Molly:You place the plate like this and then it scans it in.

Molly: Then it sparkles and you can get your food back and eat it.

We have pregnancy #2 lift-off.

The One started on his Masterpiece novel, called "The One's Masterpiece". I know, how very creative of me.

Molly is a great grandma. She's always spending time with the girls.

And takes an active role in teaching them important life skills.

Narya's obsession with working out continues. At least she's not running on the treadmill while pregnant.

Gordon... I know that Molly and The One are getting on in years (The One's life meter was full at this time but in TS3 elders tend to linger if they've had a good life) but there is really no need to be preparing the girls for the inevitable at this tender age.

Narya was going crazy from being cooped up in the house, mostly just tending the garden, so I let her take a trip out and about. She just wanted to do snake charming in inappropriate places, though.

I managed to persuade her to take a dip in the pool.

Looks like one of my favourite glitches from TS2 is alive and well in TS3!

More toddler learning to walk activity.

While Narya stakes out the hospital in the hopes of finding a doctor to tell her about her pregnancy.

She didn't find one. There were sims constantly visiting the hospital and she talked to them all but none of them actully worked there.

I just had to laugh at Veronica trying to sneak up on her daughter, trying to scare her. She can see you!

Here is the only good picture of Decoder I seem to have taken. She's quite the little genius (not that she has the trait. Yet) and she managed to read most of the toddler skilling books well before her sister.

I don't even know why I took this picture of Gordon. I'm sure I had SOMETHING in mind when I did.

After the fire The One rolled a wish to fireproof the fireplace so I let him. No point in having to worry about that as well.

This is basically just proof that Molly is a wonderful grandma and talks about the grandkids all the time.

While The One delights in playing with them.

I am going to miss these two so much when their time is up. They've been absolutely amazing.

This is why Belles Will's toddler education is so slow. Gordon and his Neat trait keep putting away the skill books I continuously try to leave on the floor for her.

Narya tried to go for ye olde legacy staple bathroom birth but got sent off to the hospital instead.

Kiera, who is married to Solar, showed up.

She was rather miffed at not being allowed inside for the birth.

Meet Eddy Current. Because I couldn't fit [url=http://www.ecsr.com.au/Eddy Current Suppression[/url] into the naming box.

If you think that's bad, my one remaining name was Tinkerbell's Dope Ring, so he actually got off lightly. LOL

Poor Gordon got left kerbside when Narya went off in the taxi without him.

See you next time!

Moebius has a little girl! She's around the twins' age so I'll make sure that they get to meet her and bring her over for a visit.
