Once he was fed, I sent him out to collect stuff. It's faster making money this way than waiting for Molly to get promotions since the rewards for that are such a pittance.
Narya: You smell like you need a bath! I would advise you to leave immediately. You don't want to experience what my parents do to kids that stink.
And on that ominous note, it was time for a couple of birthdays!
Looks like Gordon isn't taking Narya's advice and stuck around after all.

I decided to go with the nerd factor he had going on. The chess table was his favourite piece of play equipment as a kid. And now he wants to become a chess master.
It's Saturday morning and Molly continues to look after the garden and ensure that the family is well-fed. Most of the plants are Great or Excellent, with a couple of Perfect ones <3
While The One works on his next novel.
I don't know if you can see it there but the skill bob actually shows green for novel progress and blue for writing skill progress. It's kind of cool.
Narya is a typical kid and gets up at the crack of dawn to play with her dolls.
While the twins are typical teens and sleep in, dreaming about becoming fit and ripped and being the most popular kids in high school.
This is so full of win that I don't know where to start!
The library seems to be the hip place in town.
Looks like Carrie is pregnant again. And that is my self-sim's son, I think.
And the yound lady who was hanging out with Narya is Carrie's daughter, Kiera, all grown up to teen.
I think she and Solar would be well-suited to each other.

Molly needed to make more friends for her political campaigning. So she visited some of the locals. And met this hungry child with the crazy floating hair.

I ended up totally revamping the garden after this and put the trees closer to the road, where the bushes are in that pic, and moving the lower plants/bushes closer to the house. The fruit trees were blocking my view into the house. /boring stuff
I told you those fish were scary! That's fish and chips made out of those giant minnows or goldfish that Solar keeps catching!
Just a typical evening in the Ring household, with Molly playing with Narya, The One working on a skill to help him write better novels (in this case trying to reach painting skill level 3 so he can write children's novels), Moebius painting and Solar playing chess.
And moving right along, we're already into the next afternoon. And I get confused as to whose girlfriend Kiera was supposed to be. She has 3 traits in common with one of the boys but it's been a while since I played and I totally can't remember which one. Would it be too confusing to say "Go for it, son, just don't steal your brother's girlfriend"???
Sigh... They're getting a new computer as soon as they get enough money for it. Ye Olde PC keeps breaking down.

I have no idea why this tourist took a dislike to Bart. But he slapped poor Bart several times.
Meanwhile, Molly is campaigning and getting donations. Cha-ching!
And this is Molly's boss, who is an absolute tightwad and gave something like 50 bucks towards Molly's campaign fund. BOOO!!!
And another Patchett boy grows up into female hair.
Pays to be nice to those who donate to your campaign fund. So Molly steals some of Nickolas's picnic. Because that is what he would want since he's a supporter.

I have a money tree growing!!!!
I went around to the Patchett house to fix all the boys with girlie hair. And found ANOTHER male kid still in the larval stage. * facepalm *
The oldest biy is delightfully evil BTW and will probably grow up into female hair again anyway. Can't wait to see the evil drag queen running around the hood, stealing candy from babies!
They kept the co-worker.
And Molly got a raise for her wonderful decision-making!
Time passes and the money tree now has coins. But no money bags yet.
The One was going crazy from being cooped up in the house again, so I sent him to the library to continue writing his next bestseller.
Time for Narya to grow up!
And because I am not evil, I actually continue past this point

She is such a great mix of the parents!!!!
First autonomous meal as a teen: ice cream.
And then The One achieved his Lifetime Wish. Which then gets nailed down. They don't get to roll a new one, unfortunately.
Can you tell who the friends are and who is not that close to his siblings?
His writing career now soaring at amazing heights, The One starts to put in a bit more time in the garden.
Gordon came back and showed off that he is now all growed up and uber cute.
He still likes kids' music, though!
Narya: I'd like to kiss you.
Engram: Whoa, there, missy! You barely know him!
Narya: Yeah, but we get along so well I feel as if I've known him for years!
I can see that you are going to be a fast worker, my girl...

Narya: Will you be my boyfriend?

And then some making out.
Please note that he didn't even get to set foot in the house.
Not that Gordon seems to mind!
And then it was time for the mundane routine of homework.
Narya: I don't care! I'm off to France in the morning, anyway! I'd rather just have it done so I don't have to worry about it later.
