Soooo... I figured out how to convert sims from Medieval to TS3. Some minor tweaking was required and obviously the skintones, lighting and sliders are not quite the same between the two games so the sim looks a little bit different. But still adorable :)
On the left she is in the process of being transformed with makeup (all base game) and custom hair, on the right she is sans makeup and with all game content. The skintone is the TSM to TS3 conversion from MATY.
Her eyes are so much bigger in TS3 than they appear in TSM! I guess that explains the apparent thyroid disorder I'm seeing in TSM. I might still need to make her head narrower so she looks more like her TSM version. All I did to her was to fix the profile of the nose bridge and moved her jaw forward so that her teeth weren't showing through her lip corners.
Would anyone be interested in a tutorial on converting TSM sims to TS3? I took pictures for it and then felt embarrassed because I figured that EVERYONE can figure out how to do this. But, since I seem to be the first person showing a TSM-to-TS3 sim I thought that maybe I would ask if people would like a tutorial anyway. Or maybe people just didn't realise how dead easy the conversion is, even if the sim does end up needing some tweaking due to some sliders being different.
I'll shut up now and go to bed. When I'm done converting them, I will offer all of my ladies from Engramvania for download in both TSM and TS3 versions. I have so far done the knight and the queen, though the queen still needs some tweaking.
