I'm off to Michigan this afternoon. Wish me luck!
I'll be spending Thursday morning and early afternoon in the office, meeting people, looking at the facilities. Then Thursday evening exploring on my own. Friday I have a meeting with a banker to see if I can actually afford to buy a condo instead of renting. Followed by a walking tour of the Engineering Campus at University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Oh, did I mention that I submitted my grad school application last night? I requested transcripts this morning, and I take the GRE on the 22nd.
Saturday I'll meet with the Realtor to look at the different towns and neighborhoods. That way I can figure out where I want to live and what they'll have to pay me to live like I want to. I may visit one of the local churches on Sunday before I head to the airport to fly home. The weather is supposed to be a bit bad on Sunday (HIGH of 12deg F, people!). I hope I get out alright.
