I usually go up the pub Thursday nights with my mates, but I had a run in with my ex and her new fella there last week, so I'm giving it a miss tonight. Sat here with a can of Miller instead.
The insurance firm have taken my car away to assess the damage and decide how much they're going to reimburse me for it, no idea how long that will take. So I have been commuting to work on my Suzuki Tl1000. Which despite the time of year has been quite enjoyable. Its also been a good 'shakedown' for my trip to Switzerland and I have made some adjustments and performed some servicing tasks.
Work is going well, and its great having my own house, even if the mortgage payment are the size of the third world debt.
