To the only team that ever won my heart: GO HAWKS GO!
The experts all agree, the Seattle Seahawks got robbed. Terrible officiating took away the Hawks' chances. Yeah, the Hawks made their share of mistakes, but they had a lot of help in losing on Sunday.
And in the midst of it all, the Hawks are still champions. They did what no Seahawks team has ever done and made it to the SuperBowl. And in the face of incredible injustice, they played like champions, they acted like champions, and they are champions. They could be bitching about the referees, but they're not. They've congratulated their opponents, stepped up and taken responsibility for their mistakes, and promised to come back next year and play their hearts out again.
Now, I'm not much of a professional sports fan, but I'll get behind the Seahawks on this. They're showing the kind of heart and spirit that I wish all professional athletes would exhibit.
