A new year...

OMG...it IS a new year and yet six weeks have passed....time just keeps going faster and faster. I enjoy seeing entries from alumni....it does my ancient heart good to hear you are doing well.

Here's hoping all my students, current and old, and me, too, have a great year!

I've never really had the chance to thank you for that day you asked me to see you in the morning. It meant so much to me that you cared. I'm sorry I couldn't talk about it then.

So much has happened since then. I changed it and I moved far away (ran away you can say), but I think it was what I needed. I wanted to move back but I couldn't. Some days I feel like staying here was a mistake, but I think about how I would have been down there and it wouldn't have been much better.

It's so hard sometimes. More recently I've been doing better and I'm learning to deal with my ghosts one day at a time.

What happened doesn't matter anymore but it changed everything. I'm just picking up the pieces and trying to make a picture out of them.

I'll be going to Ren Fest near Houston, it was one thing that I can still look forward to. I've made some amazing friends here and they will be going with me. I hope to see some of my friends from Sci Tech while I'm there as well.

I'll be throwing a costume/halloween party this year. I'm super excited! I can't wait. We're going to rave : )!!

Anyway... Thank you. Thank you so much for everything. I miss you dearly.
