Practicing English with video games

One practical way for English learners to practice their English skills would be with video games that use English.

Here's a scene from a very popular modern video game named Witcher 3. This specific video is a version of the game that uses Russian, but it's also possible to play this game in only English or to use English audio, but to keep the Russian subtitles and text.

Here's a different part of the same game (Witcher 3), but in English instead of Russian:

If you don't have the money or ability to play modern video games like Witcher 3, then you might consider playing some older video games instead. Here's a video game that I enjoyed a lot when I was younger:

Both of these games can be played on a computer, but Witcher 3 will require a more powerful computer than the other game.

If both of these games are too advanced for your English skill level, then you might want to play something else that still uses English, but has less dialog.
