Computer Infected
Here I am. *shaky breath* My computer was infected with a horrible thing called Spyware Protect 2009 Wednesday night. I've been battling it ever since. I'm still not sure if I'm free of it, but thank God I got on the net a few minutes ago. If I disappear, it's eaten me again. *stabs it repeatedly with a spork*
*sob* I've never had this happen before. I clicked on a link to a video recommended by a friend and was immediately a dead duck. So please, everyone, be very careful what links you chose. I've having a computer technican come out tomorrow just to be sure the thing is gone and I have the maximum protection available.
I can't tell you how good, if scary, it is to be back. I kind of expect to explode at any minute.
Needless to say, I haven't been able to write a damn thing. Word was the virus could infection my Word files as well, so I had to stay out of those. I'm taking a nervous look around, wearing a mask so the monster won't recognize me.
