For my Fantasy narratives course I have to write a 500 word story about a character from Lord of the Rings. I am not having a problem with the writing of the story, however, I am having difficulty with the exegesis that must be included with the story. I have only been told that the exegesis explains why we wrote the story the way we did and this is very vague. I have tried looking for examples on the net but I have only found biblical examples. Any suggestions (besides asking my tutor) as to what should be included in a good exegesis?
