Also, this is just meant as a helpful hint, but it's better to take down the citation info as you're getting your notes. This keeps you from being put in this situation later, and it keeps you from accidentally forgetting to cite something altogether (thus putting you in the awkward position of looking like you plagiarised or even accidentally plagiarising).

i usually do get them right then and there, but after the hours spent in the library and the fact that it was 75 degrees out, i made the choice to procrastinate
