Went to Downtown Disney
Hey, i actually went somewhere, and on a whim! Look, I'm being social. What happened was a guy named James that works in custodial doesn't do much, and is usally in the cafeteria when I am. So today, I found out he was getting off around the same time I was, so I asked if we should go somewhere, since it's my first few hours off in a long time, when I could actually do something other than not get enough sleep.
So we went to downtown disney, a shopping/commericial area. The Virgin Records/bookstore/gaming store is there, along with Cirque du Soleil, Hardrock, PI, and a comedy club, along with the magnet store, glass store, and movie/rock stars' signed memoriablia store. (oh the prices!) Oh yeah, and mc donald's and ghirardelli, and the leggo store. oh the people-leggos.
I was freezing most of the last hour (WHY did I convince myself not to take a warm coat?), but I'm better now. Ran into the leggo store for refuge.
But anyway, it was cool, my life seems exciting now and I like it, and it's interesting, because I feel like I could have the pick of guys if I wanted to, and wanted to be that way. It's really neat, but I feel like I am valuable, as far as "collecting people" (friends) to be near me. I'm a little pushy I guess, but I'm not used to not being liked. I think I'm very fortunate with that, and it's nice.
So I'm getting some friends down here! Unfortunately, my next day off isn't until tuesday. :( (I have six work days in a row this week, including class day!) So yah. Monday will be a killer, so don't expect any sign of me that day! I'm scheduled to work until 12:30 am; I think there should be extra pay for people who work past 11 pm. x__x
Now, for what I bought! I bought a peter pan novel, (not the highest reading level, but you know, reads like anime so it's fun, and I love PP), two magazines(for drawing--a pinup one and a good ballet one), and nine little butterfly magnets. ^__^
But, my other reading books from amazon came after my last post yesterday. So now I've got lots of books! But also, reading them, I see why my writing has such potential. I think I can make it yet, if I am only not so critical of everyone. :)
